This impression may be rather biased. This game is basically Redwall in video game form, and Redwall was one of my favorite books growing up. You play as a mouse bard that was jailed under an oppressive rat regime. At least in the first hour, you’re trying to find your wife and figure out what happened to you.
Much of the game is based around stealth, and it works well….most of the time. There are definitely concessions to video game-ness, and the guards immediately forget about you once you’ve “hidden.”
Nevertheless, it’s a fun game from what I’ve played. It is in Early Access, so hopefully the few glitches I encountered will be solved by the time release rolls around. Hopefully, the rest of the game will keep me interested, but at least for now it is a solid Tier One entry.
